Here are a selection of some of the shots from last Thursday's "Bird In The Hand" shoot, you can see more at my facebook profile here. It was without doubt one of my favourite shoots to work on to date. I only hope we can top it on our next little project!!!:

New Wedding Packages & New Facebook Fan Page
Well folks, it's been a couple of weeks since my last post. I've been busy working up some exciting new wedding packages as well as getting to grips with a brand new facebook fan page. Please take the time to view the brand new wedding packages which have expanded to a total of 10 different and unique packages tailored to offer something for everyone and also to provide a package to suit any budget. The wedding packages can be viewed here.
I have also started up a new facebook fan page. So together with this blog and the main website, you will be able to keep up to date with all the latest news and special offers from Steve Burke Photography. The new facebook fan page can be viewed here.

Nearly Finished
Had a great time shooting with Lisa, Mark and Michelle last Monday and I'm almost finished editing the pics. I've been taking my time - when time is available - with these, but so far the pics are coming out good. Lisa is a model in a million, she shows up half an hour early, doesn't complain once and all she wants to do is climb climb climb - seriously, she's a nut nut, but in a good way. I love working with her because I always know I'll get great results. But then, that can be a problem because I usually end up with too many good pics and more work than I bargained for. Likewise with Michelle's work on the makeup, hardly any work needed in post production in terms of touch ups (or airbrushing **hate that term**) - in fact I think only a couple of pics needed it, but that was deliberate to achieve the effect I was looking for. (Below is an example of what I mean ). Mark did a great job too, very professional. All in all twas a good day!!!!

Phew......
Well, it's been a busy couple of weeks! Finally have a saturday off. Normally I enjoy working at the weekends, but it's good to have one day to myself. Well, it's not really a proper day off, I'm just not shooting today. Have some client shots to upload to the website and some others to edit, plus I need to do some behind the scenes work on the website - a couple of small bugs to iron out. Must also prepare for Monday's big wedding shoot. The amazingly wonderful Michelle Anderson will be coming up to do some more outstanding makeup work on the beautiful Lisa Carolan. Monday's gonna be a fun day I think. Rain, hail or shine you'll all see us out and about in Clondalkin!!!!!!
